Sun Valley began its life as an elaborate movie set, populated by Hollywood types and captured on celluloid. This March, the Sun Valley Film Festival will recapture some of that cinematic glory as it features independent films, previews of TV series, and (we are told) at least one Very Important Premiere. It’s a natural extension of the town’s vibrant gallery and restaurant scene, as well as all those L.A. direct flights. Besides, no one goes to Sundance anymore; it’s too crowded.
